GUIDELINES FOR 9/17 MOBILE RALLY AGAINST OPWDD CUTS: PDF BELOW
- We are planning a peaceful, respectful Rally. Our power is in our message and in our numbers. We don’t want to disparage the Governor. We are asking for, and need, his support.
- Please follow proper COVID precautions. Please wear a mask anytime you are outside your car and stand next to your vehicle whenever possible.
DO NOT GATHER IN GROUPS! Please remain socially distant.
- Turn on Headlights. Please do not use Hazard/ Flashing Lights
- Please be courteous to other motorists along our Rally Routes. If a driver needs to cut into the Caravan, please allow them to do so. Our Caravans will be splintered at times but can easily come together again.
- If someone outside the Caravan is obnoxious, unfriendly, not supportive of our message, do not engage. Just ignore them.
- If you’re travelling from the LIE to the Mario Cuomo Bridge, there are restrooms open at the Ardsley Rest Stop but the concessions are closed.
- If possible, wear a Red Shirt
